A geologists's Dream

WOW!  I thought Wyoming was the most beautiful state until we went through south western Utah today and through Zion National Park.  The park itself (one main road of sights) is closed but the thoroughfare along the south part of the park is open.  It was exquisite!
Staying in Bryce Canyon tonight and driving the rim of the park tomorrow.
Big temperature change as we arrived.  Left hot Vegas and arrived at cool Bryce.
Dinner at the local place...Ruby's.  It seems Ruby (Reuben) and his wife back in the early 1900s settled here. The family still owns the property.  Because they own so many acres, we are able to drive less than a mile along their property tomorrow to the rim of the Canyon.  So, government be damned.
