The Florida Panhandle

Always wanted to see the panhandle of our fair state so we drove along it enjoying the differences in the towns from Pensacola to Panama City.  Some honky tonk beach areas and others like Seaside and Seacrest we loved.  Walked around Seaside for a bit to stretch and found a resort much like Casa Ybel on Sanibel.  Reminded us of all the years we spent there when the boys were younger.  Definitely a family place. 
Dinner at Uncle Ernie's in St. Andrew historical area of Panama City overlooking the water.  Watched the sunset and the boats coming into the harbor.  Great spot with great food.  Anytime we can eat by the water, we will!
